Paris — N’Djamena · Chadian gum arabic, delivered with proof

FR

A shorter chain is the only honest discount.

Most gum arabic reaching a processing plant has passed through five sets of hands between the tree and the buyer. Each one takes a margin, and each one adds a layer between you and the origin. We removed the layers we could remove, and we show you what is left.

One chain has five links too many

A conventional route runs from producer to village collector, to regional trader, to exporter, to international trader, before it reaches the buyer. Five intermediaries, five margins, and five points where a lot can lose the record of where it came from.

ONE INTERMEDIARY BETWEEN PRODUCER AND BUYER

MAMO buys directly from named producer groups and sells directly to you, from Paris and N’Djamena. The gum is the same gum. The chain carrying it is shorter.

What a direct mandate changes

A direct mandate with a producer group means the price paid at origin is set and recorded before the season starts, not negotiated lot by lot at the roadside. It means volumes are committed in advance, so a producer group plans a harvest around a buyer who will actually take delivery.

It also removes a temptation that a long chain creates: relabelling a lot to a higher grade or a different origin somewhere between the collector and the port. With fewer hands on the lot, there are fewer places for that to happen unnoticed.

PRICE SET BEFORE THE SEASON · COMMITTED VOLUMES · NO RELABELLING IN TRANSIT

Why we do not publish a price list

We do not publish prices — grade, volume and incoterm set them, and a number printed without those three would mislead more than it would inform. We publish the structure that makes them competitive: the chain, the mandate, and the absence of a fourth or fifth hand taking a cut in between.

Ask us for a quote against your specification and volume, and you will get a number that means something, built up line by line from FOB to your incoterm of choice.

GRADE + VOLUME + INCOTERM SET THE PRICE — NOT A PRICE LIST

QUESTIONS

Three questions buyers ask.

Why no price list?

Because grade, volume and incoterm change the number too much for a list to mean anything. A price quoted without them would either mislead you or bind us to something we cannot deliver. We quote once we know what you need.

What is the minimum order?

One 20-foot trial container. It is enough to run your own qualification on real cargo, before either side commits to a recurring volume.

What are the payment terms?

A confirmed, irrevocable letter of credit or documentary collection, negotiated per contract. We do not ask for advance payment outside a bank-mediated instrument.
