MAMO International was founded by Mahamat Younous Abdel Salam, who set out to close the gap between two markets that rarely speak to each other directly: Chadian gum arabic producer groups, working the collection zones of Ouaddaï, Salamat and Chari-Baguirmi, and processors worldwide who need a documented, reliable supplier rather than an anonymous spot lot.

That founding idea shaped the structure of the company itself: a commercial and documentary desk in Paris, and a collection, sorting and control operation on the ground in N’Djamena. Neither end works without the other.

OUR MISSION

Connect Chadian producer groups to industry worldwide, with proof

Our mission is narrow by design: to give buyers of gum arabic worldwide (E414) a supplier whose claims can be checked, from the GPS coordinates of a collection zone to the certificate of analysis attached to a specific lot. We are not trying to be the cheapest broker in the market; we are trying to be the one whose paperwork survives an audit.

For Chadian producer groups, the mission is the mirror image: a buyer that commits to a price before harvest and keeps buying campaign after campaign, instead of disappearing when the market turns.
